Alex is a renowned photographer, zoopsychologist, editor‑in‑chief of Zoography magazine, author of the book The World of Wild Animals Without Myths about the Maasai Mara, and the person who made the Maasai Mara Reserve famous throughout the country.
He knows every leopard and cheetah in the reserve personally — and they know him!
Alexey has dedicated his life to studying and protecting animals, primarily the big cats living in the Maasai Mara.
Alexey and his team have been supporting the work of the rangers at the Maasai Mara National Park for many years. Of course, the park administration is always happy to provide support not only for our conservation projects, but also for our guests.
We maintain close contact with the rangers, which allows us to learn about the most interesting things happening in the park before others do. For the most curious nature lovers, we organise opportunities to meet the rangers and learn about their work.
Tony has been working as a guide for over 15 years. He grew up in the Maasai Mara and knows the entire reserve like the back of his hand. He has extensive experience working with the most demanding clients.
Tony has completed the mandatory training required for guides and can tell you about the animals better than many biologists. He is also the head of one of the Maasai villages — everyone in the Maasai Mara knows him!
Our guides are the most experienced and friendly Maasai people. We have along‑standing collaboration with each of them. All guides have completed training at a guide school, know the reserve and its wildlife well. Many of them have worked as rangers or combine the roles of park ranger and guide.
