GROUP: maximum 4 people!
In Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Park, from July to September, more than 2 million animals — mainly wildebeest and zebras — undertake a mass migration, moving from one place to another, from pasture to pasture, effectively grazing thousands of square kilometres of grasslands.
Hundreds of thousands of animals gathered in a single field is a spectacle in itself. But the highlight of the migration season is the crossing of the Mara River. A vast herd rushes across the river, which is home to crocodiles.
The Great Wildebeest Migration in East Africa is the most spectacular and grandiose wildlife event! And if you’re travelling with a renowned wildlife photographer, traveller, animal psychologist and author of a popular book about African cats, your journey will turn into an unforgettable and educational adventure!
We are delighted to invite you to Kenya to witness the Great Migration with your own eyes. We’ve been organising migration tours for professional photographers and tourists for over 15 years. Our experienced guides — local Maasai people — know the best spots to watch the wildebeest cross the river.
Moreover, our vehicles have special “off‑road” permits, allowing us to move freely across the national park, beyond the standard tourist routes. This means you’ll be able to get right into the heart of the most spectacular event in the African savanna — a unique opportunity not available through regular tour operators.
In addition, the group will be accompanied by Aleksey Osokin, Editor‑in‑Chief of Zoography magazine. Aleksey has been working in the reserve for over 15 years and knows all the local cats by sight. He’ll also tell you about how the reserve operates, introduce you to the work of the rangers, share incredible stories and teach you how to take great wildlife photos!
7 days in the savanna — a complete immersion into the wild nature of Africa!
Besides the migration itself, you’re almost guaranteed to see lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, and with a very high chance — rhinos, as well as many other amazing African animals.
ACCOMMODATION:
