SAFARI TOUR DATES: 07.06.2026–13.06.2026 (5 days in the reserve, 6 days / 5 nights)
GROUP: 6 people (4 spots available)
Among the many safari tour offers to Kenya, it’s hard to find something truly special and unique. In principle, a safari tour through the country’s national parks is already a special experience — at the very least, it’s an incredible adventure. Just think: you’ll be in the middle of completely wild nature!
But of course, you always want to get the most out of such an extraordinary trip: to see as many animals as possible, learn interesting facts about them, and bring home photos that will amaze your family and friends — making them wonder how you’ve become such a great photographer — while also letting them relive at least some of the highlights of your adventure with you. And that’s exactly the kind of safari tour to Kenya we’re offering you now.
In June, when Kenya’s national parks aren’t yet crowded with tourists, you’ll embark on your unforgettable adventure, accompanied by renowned wildlife photographer, author of a popular book about African cats, animal psychologist and editor‑in‑chief of Zoography magazine, Alexey Osokin.
Alexey is a professional photographer and the author of numerous articles and a book about the wildlife of Africa.
Over the years spent in Kenya’s largest national park, Maasai Mara, he has mastered the work of rangers and personally protected wild animals from poachers — literally pulling them out of traps and snares with his own hands.
Alexey will not only teach you how to photograph wild animals, but also share many secrets and fascinating stories. He’ll show you how to tell one leopard from another and take you to the most interesting spots in the reserve — places that are off‑limits to regular tourists.
Alexey knows the reserve so well, and has spent so much time there, that not only the locals and staff recognise him — even the animals do!
ACCOMMODATION:
We’ll spend 1 night at a 4‑star hotel in Nairobi, followed by 5 nights in the heart of the Maasai Mara National Park — at Matira Bush Camp.
Matira Bush Camp
The camp is located right in the centre of the Maasai Mara National Park, which means your encounter with nature will last 24 hours a day. You’ll fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the savannah.
The accommodation conditions are no different from those of regular hotels you’re used to. The tents feature comfortable beds, and of course there’s a toilet and a shower with hot water. The only difference is that instead of walls and a roof, you’ll have canvas! That’s right — you’ll be staying in a large, spacious and very comfortable tent with all the necessary amenities. The tents are equipped with electricity, but you won’t find a TV inside.
Even though predatory animals — including lions and hyenas — may roam around you, your safety is not at risk. First, the animals have no interest in you, and second, you’ll be constantly guarded by brave warriors from the Maasai tribe!
Electricity at the camp runs from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m. The generator is switched off at night to avoid unnecessary noise that could disturb the animals. High‑speed satellite internet is also available from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The restaurant is open only during breakfast, lunch and dinner service periods. Meal times are set at the guests’ request. The camp features a cozy lounge bar and a relaxation area by the campfire.
The camp is owned by a pleasant lady from Switzerland, so the level of service here is on par with the finest hotels in Europe.
